Most couples book 6-12 months in advance, especially for peak dates in West Michigan. If your date matters to you (and it should!), reach out as soon as you can.
A signed contract and a paid retainer are all it takes to lock it in. After that, your date is officially yours. We do not book more than one wedding in a weekend so we can dedicate our time to you and you only!
Yes! We break things up into manageable payments so you’re not stressing about one big number. Just ask us! We are more than willing to make this as easy as possible on you (and your wallet!)
Heck yeah we do! And the best part? We do not charge fees for Michigan travel. We just ask that you put us up in a hotel if your wedding is more than 2 hours away from Grand Rapids (this is pretty standard in our industry).
That depends on your day, but we don't charge in hours. We charge a partial day rate or a full day rate, so you have absolute control of your budget. So if that means 4 hours or 12, we're there for you when and where you need us! But on average, couples spend about 7-8 hours with us on their wedding day.
Yes! We will also work closely with your planner/coordinator to ensure your day runs smooth from start to finish.
We’ve photographed a lot of weddings (over 100!)—rain, delays, pneumonia, wild timelines—you name it. We adapt quickly and keep things calm so you don’t have to worry. We always have someone on standby should the absolute unthinkable happen. We may photograph a ton of silly things and have a ton of fun with you, but we are consummate professionals and have been shooting weddings for a long time. We got you!
